American is nothing if not consistent. Every American flight I've been on for the past 2 years has been late due to maintenance issues. While my sample is small ( 8 flights ) I believe that there is a problem with a record like this. Of course, when the crew shows up 5 minutes before we're supposed to board that doesn't help, as they might have discovered the issue earlier and taken care of it. This crew was coming in for their first flight of the day.This is flight 3770 out of Cleveland, fortunately not making a connection.
