That "non-qual' adjusted stay entry is not changing your initially posted stayed night(s) from Qual Night(s) to be a non-qual night.
This value just means the adjusted does not add extra qual night(s) that were already creditted when stay initially posted earlier.
examples
1. If initially single night is incorrectly posted eg
Initial Stay Post shows
qual nights=0 points = 0000 bonus points=0000
... then...
Adjusted Stay Post shows ...
Qual Nights=1 Qual Points=nnnn bonus points = nnnn
2. If initially multinight stay posts incorrectly for too few nights, and correct points eg 5night stay post as 1qual night
Initial Stay Post shows
qual nights=1 points = nnnn bonus points=nnnn
... then...
Adjusted Stay Post shows ...
Qual Nights=4 Qual Points=0000 bonus points = 0000
3. If initially multinight stay posts incorrectly for too few nights, and too few points eg 5night stay post as 1qual night
Initial Stay Post shows
qual nights=1 points = nnnn bonus points=nnnn
... then...
Adjusted Stay Post shows ...
Qual Nights=4 Qual Points=nnnn bonus points = nnnn
4. More usual for me is too few points when qual nights posted correctly
eg 5night stay post as 5nights but f+b missing or double VAT removed

qual nights=5 points = nnnn bonus points=nnnn
... then...
Adjusted Stay Post shows ...
Non Qual Nights=1 Qual Points=nnnn bonus points = nnnn
a)The ONLY adjusted stay I have not initiated by myself and is a retospective line in Feb2016 for an April2015 UK HIE stayed night.
b)adjustment deducted points for a stay of 1x night at UK HIE that I did book and stay for at a qual night rate
non-qual-nights=1 -378 EliteQualPoints -378 EliteBonusPoints = -756 points
c)BUT I have NOT bothered to chase with IHG Cust Svcs to get explanation as what adjustment represents ....
I see points adjustment as was a messy stay... HIE cancelled room at 4pm, and reinstated 4.30pm when i tried to checkin. Night never posted and eventually posted at my online missing stay request without VAT being deducted from rate, so I could understand some pts being removed BUT both Qual + bonus points deducted makes think it is remove points awarded for any VAT included except 378 is circa £20 and that nights room was £67 + £13 VAT (not £100 + £20vat = £120)
