I understand that Avios programme is distance based.

Distance between KUL to PEK or PVG fall within the 2xxx miles band.

When I search for availability on MH (they have direct flights opposed to CX that needs transit in HKG)

Economy 1 way is offered at 12500 avios

BUT Business is offered at 37500 avios (isnt this amount for First?)

Shouldnt Business be at 25000?

Please help verify unless im reading the award chart wrongly.
