Between now and 7/31/16, this would earn 100% of the actual miles flown. If you have any status with AA, then any segments shorter than 500 miles would be rounded up.
Effective 8/1/16, award miles are earned based on the amount of money you spend, not on the distance you fly. It could be calculated off of the fare and any carrier imposed fees, excluding any taxes and government fees, and multiplied by 5 (or by 7/8/11 if you are Gold/Plat/EXP).
