Anybody know how much will the tax be if I bring more than the allowed 6 cans of 800mg in to China? I can understand my friend's concern for wanting foreign made infant formula and decided to bring a little more if possible as a baby gift to his child instead of buying the usual baby toys or clothes.

How will the taxed be levied for the extra baby formula? Do I even need to declare it since it's in the check bag and not carry on? The check bag as every know is near the airport exit after you pass customs.
