Indeed. I see stuff like that all the time (because I get emailed any time a charge is run against this particular card I use).
But yeah, AV tends to trigger fraud alerts, given that a bank sees a charge coming from South or Central America. Gets the spidey sense tingling. In this case I'd rather have the false positives than have them asleep at the switch the one time I get whacked for a few thousands in fraudulent charges at Walmart, and have some unpleasant surprises when I use the card.
And I've had issues like this with AV. Just have to bull through (and realize that this is part of the cost of your "cheap" business/first class ticket you purchased with AV miles you got in their latest sale, the agony of declined charges and inefficient customer service).
