Lots of equipment swaps on 777 routes this year. If you paid for F, and end up in J, then of course you can get a refund. Alternatively you can switch to a new flight that does offer F.
With your trip not till November, I would wait till after the summer and see what the schedules look like, as there are sure to be more changes before then.
