because the wording was ambiguous as I recall it. It didn't say the referred person could not already be EC member. It could've been interpreted as "member who has not registered for the promo yet"; in which case you're disqualifying yourself (to be referred) by a hapless click on National's email invite to register yourself for the promo...

I was asking for verbatim quote from T&C about "WHO CAN BE REFERRED"
