Actually, it doesn't make much difference in terms of airline, the incoming might land in the end of B and the outbound will be from the end of D, which would still be within 10-15 minutes walk.

PS I guess for CDG they'd be telling one not to worry since the flights would both land and leave in terminal 2

I think some websites/TA refers to the different departure/arrival lounges as "terminals".
