I got 4 Y seats on an early AM BOS-JFK flight with 10 hour layover at JFK
before the JFK-CDG flight. A more convenient flight at 1 PM is showing
many Y seats but none available in T class. (I am wait-listed for it)

My strategy will be to see if I can be moved over to that flight the day
before. If not, I will drop BOS-JFK and drive to JFK OR take the early
AM flight and enjoy the city for a day...

Does anyone know how and when these wait-lists are cleared ? Would
prefer to get it confirmed well ahead rather than wait for it until
