Verdict: To say I was disappointed in this meal would be an understatement. It met all the requirements for full Delta domestic meal service. The flight attendant called it a "snack" — the other option was a turkey sandwich with Ruffles and fruit — and it was just as lackluster. I ended up writing to Delta about how disappointed I was.

The mai tais, however, were pretty good.
As others posted, I would've expected a hot meal.

Is this the standard for dinner to KOA? Anyone else have a different experience?

Will be flying LAX-KOA. Want to know if I should eat a more substantial meal at the airport before the flight.
