The European flights with OS are fine as well. One of the better carriers in my opinion. Flying for the last 5 years dozens of times a year with OS, I had just a few minor problems with delays or cancellations caused by weather and if... I usually was informed via SMS with my new connection on another A* partner (which you won't have with EasyJet) when I landed from my previous flight.

When you say access from landside, how is OS different from U2? I thought either airline would force me to go landside to check in my bag and then go through security to get to the gates.
Yes, but U2 will be in the LCC terminal, OS in the better parts of Schipol

Anyway, don't believe all you read in the internet. There are so many rant posts around about experiences with airlines and you decide to believe those... you better stay home. OS is perfectly fine and would be my choice, especially if U2 costs more.
