On yesterday's flight from LHR to ORD there were a number of FLY specialists at the gate guiding staff through the process and it definitely looked like more training was required.

Incidentally it also flagged that I had an excess bag charge to pay as I had checked in 2 bags whilst it said my total allowance was 1 bag. Was flying in WT+ and am Silver so hadn't pulled through either of the 2nd bag allowance that they bring. Solution was to override by saying it was an inter line from JER and therefore ok?!

Wasn't what I was expecting when I got the 'magic beep' at the gate!
