Well, if something like my Rant 2014 situation happens, it's First Come First Served. You have to beat all those grAAbers and other AM/MPO members to grab the upgrade.
I read some members call (ahem) periodically once their waitlists are cancelled (but make sure it is cancelled first thru Manage My Booking - it lasts a bit longer than the stated time).
