I'm planning an award travel flight from the US (Buffalo NY) to London in October. It must be on Virgin Atlantic. I'd appreciate your opinion on the A330 vs A340, Upper Class. Reviews that I've seen on the web are mixed. On at least one of these planes I gather I have to get assistance to convert it to a flat bed, which seems like a terrible pain. I should note that I fly no more than once a year to Europe and usually fly Economy or Economy Comfort. So maybe either plane would be fine for me.
