Just came back from 5 night stay and WOW this place was incredible. Wife and I did the Discover Scuba w/open water for $360 (wife has never went diving) and we both absolutely loved it.
Oh yeah? Hyatt concierge was trying to sell me on the PADI open water course ($1350 per couple). Neither of us has scuba'd before either. Can you describe what you did with the Discover Scuba package? did it require elearning as well?

Edit: I just saw the description for it....it's 2 hours of diving. How much learning and supervision was there?
