I remember Hilton Garden Inn used to have a (if I remember, very convoluted) way of printing to the business center directly from your room... not sure if it queued the job and you had to claim it before it printed, or if it just sat in the printer for anyone to grab while you were walking down, but I do remember NOT using it once because it seemed like a pretty big hassle compared to using a thumb drive at the time.
That reminds me... Some larger printers have a built-in HTTP or FTP server. You can upload a PDF to it and have it printed directly, without the need to use a computer with the printer driver, although figuring out how to make it work might be an overkill compared to the other options, unless you often stay at a particular hotel that has such a setup.
