I wanted to pick some expert brains on here as to what my options are for the following I have at my disposal

160k BA executive club Avios points in a household account
and 2 x companion vouchers - one each for my wife and I (one expires May 2017 and the other October 2017)

We were assuming that we would need 2 bookings (one each for my wife and I) and we would then add one child each for the companion vouchers. Is that correct?

I'm based in NW London so departure airport preference would be LHR

We were looking at NYC during easter but after doing a quick search for 1 adult 1 child booking using reward flights it asks for 240k avios + £1k. Unfortunately I wouldn't be even be able to complete this for the first booking (let alone the 2nd) due to lack of Avios

Can someone be kind enough to provide some general pointers on what is possible for these limits please? i.e. should i look at different dates? or locations which are closer? Obviously would like to keep the travel within school term times if possible
