I missed a 55 minute connection to DXB scheduled at 2:05 am in HIA last weekend. Incoming flight was late and landed at about 01:50. As far as I know I was the only passenger to connect on that flight. I had carry on luggage only.

They rebooked me to the next QR flight which unfortunately was not before 06:00 am which gave me a 4 hours layover in the middle of the night and a 4 hour delayed arrival. They didn't want to put me on EK848 which left at 03:50 am.

To be honest I am a bit unhappy with the handling by QR. Or do I expect too much in this case?
