To quote myself, I did “successfully” manage to redeem a one way YYC-LHR for 2 people today but not without a great deal of frustration. First person I spoke with booked it up for me, confirming that I would be charged 32500 avios per person + £243 tax and he specified clear as day it was premium economy miles for a business class seat. Fast forward an hour when I receive my docs and I’m booked in PE, with full miles taken but the voucher not used and only £243 taken from my account (should be £243 per person). Took another call, a lot of holding and another payment to get it sorted and now I must wait up to 48 hours for it to be ticketed again.

More frustrating is that someone has already nabbed 3A/3B on the flight at 355 days out. Grr
