It sounds like we may have made a good decision to fly into MUC (thanks to the recent D1 sale) and take the train to FCO.

We're considering taking a domestic flight FCO-MUC before the return. Perhaps we'll encounter a nicer terminal experience if flying Alitalia or Lufthansa back to Munich?
