I omitted parts of the letter, they say that they'll turn the property over to the state if I don't claim it via Ryan, LLC or the other methods (which they don't describe). I also typoed on "Delta"/Detail on my transcription of the letter, fixed.

If this were a scam I can't be the only person to have received it. I did a search online to see if others have received this before or if it was a scam and came up with nothing. Ryan, LLC, appears to be a real tax firm: http://ryan.com/.

Delta did cut me a cheque several years ago for EC261 compensation that was right around $800, which I'm pretty darn sure I cashed, but perhaps I didn't. I've searched unclaimed.org many times, sadly they only had stuff for my mom
