As an aside to the many learned comments upthread.
I was on a BA service slightly delayed post pushback at DUB in April 2015 due to two FR planes clipping wings at some point taxiing to the runway (I have photos somewhere of FR passengers being decanted onto busses). The flight-deck crew's announcements on that occasion were factual and professional. Anyway, a mini datapoint to throw in.
My interest today, is whether lessons (which should have been) learned from the April 2015 incident might potentially still be issues per the subject of this thread? One trusts not.
