There are two Ritz-Carleton properties in Washington, DC. This property is neither of them. It's across the river in Virginia, and is not marketed as a Washington, DC RC. Neither is the one in Tysons Corner. So as to avoid confusion, keeping properties in large metro areas separate is important.

Would you call a hotel in Newark NJ as being in New York City?
