Getting to & from downtown Shanghai to Hongqiao Airport (SHA) is cheaper and easier than the trip to & from PVG; using Line 10 of the metro, just be sure to get off at the older Hongqiao Terminal 1, where the international flights depart.

GMP is definitely the preferred airport for getting to & from downtown Seoul; it's quick, easy, and inexpensive via the metro.
If you have to fly out of ICN on the return, check out
Airport Limousine #6002; it's a tour-style bus with limited stops that runs every 15 minutes, and costs less than $9 one way (10,000 KRW). It takes about an hour plus or minus 15 minutes depending on traffic.
