Is this a major cruise line (Cunard, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Carnival, etc) or something smaller?

Assuming large, of course the cruise line wants you off the ship, so that they can prepare the ship for its next sailing. But normally you should get a full breakfast in either the main or casual restaurant before disembarking.

When the cruise starts, check with the Purser's office to check possibilities for the final morning.
