I find it interesting that all these so called TSA posters showed up on nearly the same day thinking they could teach us a thing or two about the patriotic role they play on the front lines of national security(frankly, when I'm in 1C, I'm more "Front Line" than any TSAer) and how we should all just take it in the name of Washington, Lincoln and all things Chevy and Apple Pie.
Now, within just a week or so, it has dribbled down to this TSADude (that name alone tells me alot about this individual and his/her attitude...did I take a wrong turn and end up at "Beach Blanket Scrutiny" starring Wander-Dog and Pat-Down-Sally?)
Those of us who are on planes EVERY DAY see the system for what it is...a sham that has nothing to do with actually protecting us. It just gives the politicians something to mark their bedpost with before they move on to the next "issue of the moment."
I give the smiles and Hi's and sweet-talk at the scrutiny points another month or two before the current brigade figures out this is a thankless, meaningless job, despite the propoganda force-fed them by the powers that be. Then they will start bailing and we will be back to the rent-a-friskers we had before where you had to tell them "you have to unzip the bag before you can open it."
I can't believe I'm saying it but..."those where the days!"
