May be it works for some MU flights and not others.. odd, though.

EDIT: I just checked and seat selection on delta.com still works, on both MU and KE. Before it used to work like a year ago for a shortish while, then went to view only but can't select seats for quite a while, but now the last few months it works to select and save the seats again. Hopefully it'll stick around now.
To second this, I am able to successfully check/change MU seat assignments via DL.com and my DL Android app. This is for MU flights on 006 stock (DL awards) in J.

However, if there are any changes to the MU flights (I experienced both a flight # and small time change), you cannot even access the seat map until you "accept" the change on DL.com. IIRC there was also a small delay once I had my DL tickets for them to be confirmed/processed/whatever by MU before the seat selections would stick.

It seems to process pretty immediately. One evening I had a EF seat alert screen up in one window (using the MU flight number) and DL.com in another. If I changed/saved a seat in DL.com and then refreshed EF, I could see the occupied seat move in accordance with whatever I was doing.
