Ground handling staff outside of BA are probably adept at using several airline systems and are likely to compare systems. The BA Fly does not compare too highly. By far the number 1 complaint from staff using the system is that it is too damn slow, akin to going from highspeed internet to dial-up.
Talking to an IB ground agent the other day he said he is actually happy so many airlines moved to Altea his daily life is easier. He mentioned very little was customised by carriers, so working AF/KL/AY/QR/DY is now all the same. IB was still using the cryptic sita and a few were on sabre. I don't get it why BA went the highly customised route when all other majors abandoned it.
