BAEC isn't exactly the best either. I too fly mostly BA. Tier points to me seem unnecessarily complicated and avios earn on discounted Y is pretty low.

From what I gather, it seems earning BA gold is a lot easier than EXP. But if you're hoping to earn meaningful RDM, it seems like a wash, unless you fly a lot of high dollar premium, which I don't.
