If you are referring to the First Class Gold lounge then I am not surprised. The lounge itself is so small with limitef facilities. The Business Silver lounge gets packed to the rim too at peak hours. Forget about using the showers at that time. QR really needs to step it up for Y lounge access. The current arrangement is a joke.

If they feel the need to protect the AlMarjoun and Al Safwa then I suggest they allow PC and OW elites use other lounges including Al Maha or Oryx as they see fit to avoid overcrowding. Or maybe limit entry for Silver members.
