Last time I was through Lax, mid feb, the MLL was bursting at the seams, their were Virgin and AC pax sitting on the floor in the mezzanine area, having brought food and drinks out of the MLL. They then opened up the KLM/NW lounge accross the hallway and let Virgin pax go in there. In the meantime the NZ lounge beside the MLL was nearly empty, I tried to use that lounge and was turned away, I had just come off a NZ flight in F and was waiting for an AC flight in J, apparently that did not matter to the NZ lounge gestapo.
