Interestingly enough my partner and I are also taking a cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver next May (07MAY17 Celebrity Solstice?) we were thinking the exact same thing and were looking at DL YHZ-JFK-HNL. But DL is discontinuing service to YHZ in October so we needed to get creative. So we decided on a quick flight YHZ-YYZ and then overnight and managed to pick up UA YYZ-IAD-HNL (on the 767-400 with flat beds) for CAD$731 in confirmed First. There was a connection through ORD available too but it's on the domestic 777-200 with recliners. So we're at around CAD$931 including the YHZ-YYZ hop. We're happy with that.
