I was fascinated by the review and the pictures of the animals. The Protea Hotels add interesting possibilities for those of us with Marriott points who travel to Africa. You spoke about the road to Dar es Salaam. That perplexed me a bit as I know Dar is in Tanzania. For those whose African geography is as week as mine, know that Dar is a 27 hour drive north of this property.

You don't recommend it for those who need to be in Lusaka. Do you consider it an interesting vacation option for those traveling in Zambia?
