I have a pair of existing award tickets EWR-CDG. One way is saver Y and the other saver I. Sounds like I can just call up and have them re-issue and I'll save 7,500 miles for the Saver Y flight. Does anyone think that I may lose the flights (i.e. the put them back and they aren't they to reissue), or should this be a seamless no-brainer thing to do? Presently, I is not available when I do a flight search.

Not sure, but everything I read said "Round Trip Economy".. not sure if a Y/J RT would be eligible. Worth a call though, just make sure they don't do anything rash.
