yes, the CX lounge felt very very quiet the only time I was there in the last year or so (I pass through FRA 5-8 times a year) and it felt almost clinical and cold compared to JL.

It was rather small - claustrophobic, even.
It didn't help that when visiting the lavatories, I ran into a more senior colleague who only had J access. (I already had a guest)
that is a downside of the F side - having to walk out and past reception to the toilets (which have more buttons than any electric toilets I've seen anywhere in the world)
