The conditions should be spelled out in detail *before* purchase it made. But when the passengerchecks in at the airport? Come on.
Your money has not taken until the purchase has been verified. It may show up on your statement, but funds are not available to the merchant. I would think 95% of all credit card fraud is by the credit card holder, not the merchant.
