To answer questions above:

We are all booked together (BRU-YUL-YHZ) on one ticket with all 5 on the same reference number. So they should take care of us if a delay causes a missed connection.

We bought the tickets, they are not AP rewards. We had a friends and family code to save a little cash, but otherwise it was money on the Visa. So I won't have to deal with AP agents.

We don't have access to the MLL since we have no status and are in Y. The regular desk is good enough for shlubs like me.


I don't expect things to go wrong, but I wanted to be prepared just in case. I guess I've read too many horror stories here on FT.
