The advice above is all good. The only point I would add is that, if you miss your connection and aren't automatically re-booked, or are re-booked on something you don't like, is if you have acccess to the MLL, go there and try to get help from an AC agent there. Usually a shorter lineup and more friendly than the desk that's available to anyone and everyone.
