Apologies, and I stand corrected. I've obviously only been in the "old" rooms, although I've never felt they looked old, or had any obvious wear and tear.

I hope the new rooms look better in the flesh (or the wallpaper or whatever) as the first pic reminds me of the typical dreary sort of soviet hotels browns and creams and dark wood colour themes I used to stay in 20 years ago in Russia, which I guess made me assume they were the old non-refurbished.

Back to beige seems at odds with the new Andaz/Aloft/Indigo new boutique styes that are trending nowadays and I find much more interesting.

I'll find our soon enough, I have a few more reservations this year at this CP.
