I reserved a 9-day rental car for the travel in Maui in the coming August well in advance though Costco Travel in last September. I got a very decent rate from Enterprise for a full size cross over at $330 including taxes and fees. However,when I checked the reservation information at Enterprise's website yesterday, I found they show a different rate at $616. I called the Costco Travel's enterprise line and the CSR assured me that I will pay the rate at $330. However, she didnt quite explain well why the Enterprise website show a different price. She just mentioned that it is associated with the low inventory of the type of vehicle I reserved. I also noted that one is not able to choose a full size cross over for the same rental period. So my guess is that they had cross over type car about a year ago at that location, but now it is almost unavailable, but since I secured the contract about a year ago, I will pay the contract price of $330 and get a car at similar or higher class. But I am still a bit concerned about the $616 rate shown at enterprise website. Has anyone experienced similar issue before? Thanks.
