Had a three night stay here; mixed bag.
Had an 8am check-in request (Your24) which the hotel approved despite being sold out. Arrived and was told "we've upgraded you to a very nice Classic Queen." Went to the room and it was the smallest and darkest room I've seen in a long time; smaller than the cruise ship sized rooms at Sheraton Yokohama, and half the size of the bathroom of the suite at SR Princeville I had a few weeks ago. I ended up storing my luggage and waiting a couple hours for a bigger room; Deluxe, I suppose - still not huge, but at least on a higher floor with a window and a bit of a view.
Internet was highly problematic -- dropped connections, very poor speeds. There's no guestroom login, but anyone can just sign up with an email address. Spoke to the front desk, and apparently, no premium version. It was barely suitable for checking email and FT, and at some point, I considered leaving and seeking refuge at the IC.
Lots of positives besides the mediocre room and awful internet: Good location, very friendly staff, and great Platinum breakfast (in lieu of 500 points) -- full buffet with a good selection of high quality meats/cheeses/fish/fruits/pastries, plus hot dishes and eggs to order. I also found the hotel very appealing -- it's not a typical Westin, but feels more like a boutique hotel and could would probably be a good fit with the Luxury Collection.
