'Membership holiday' qs - define 'membership lifetime'

"Marco Polo Club members can enjoy three status holidays, each for up to 12 months, "during the course of their membership lifetime" says the airline."

Does "membership lifetime" here refer to the lifetime of the member (i.e. me, the traveler), or lifetime in the current status (eg: GR/SL/GO/DM)?

In other words, I'm trying to figure out if the '3 holidays limit' apply to me in the entire lifetime of me as MPC member (i.e I just get 3 shots period), or just in the context of my current status (with the assumption the figure 'resets' once the new membership year arrives).

Anyone know the definitive answer? If I had to wager $$ on an educated guess, I'd bet on "3 shots period"
