For cards with the chip, more than they used to cost. With millions of cards floating around, it adds up. Then there is the logistical nightmare someone else mentioned.
What's the benefit - to anyone - other than perhaps a small ego boost to the holder? In that case, can't you just pull out you MP card if you want to look at the logo or flash it at people?
