Emerald Club free days, or 1-2-Free free days?

1-2-Free free days are only valid on midsize and below.

If you're trying to use regular free days, I can't see why they wouldn't be able to be redeemed. I've found that non-airport locations play by their own rules, and this may be a situation where that's the case.
