If you work in a hub the connection challenge goes away. Free domestic travel is fine, but the big payoff is free international travel especially at the times when D1 is wide open.

Nonrevs who have figured out hub-spoke-hub travel have better chances. SLC-MCI-ATL and MSP-IND-ATL always look good when I need them.
