The hotel suggested that I file a claim w/my homeowners insurance as they feel that with their poor security they cannot be responsible. I feel that this bunch of incompetants couldn't find their arse with one hand tied behind their back. The problem is that filing a claim with my homeowners insurance here in California will result in an increase in my rates and over time I will more than pay for any loss. That is why I feel that this lousey hotel should reimburse us for this burglery.
