I was about to ask a similar question.

I was on CX784 back to HKG last Sunday in the back. Packed 77Z, not a spare seat to be had.

There was a drinks service with trolley. We weren't given menus anymore.

I saw someone in the middle seat across the aisle order something that looks like a Bloody Mary (or more likely just tomato and Vodka) and that had to be brought in from the galley.

I thought about it for a moment but decided I'll just have the tomato juice sans vodka. I had an excruciating speech to write after dinner.

But I am curious - the last time I saw the Y drinks trolley, there were 375ml bottles of Vodka and Whisky for anyone who wanted any in a drawer on the trolley at about the FA's waist height. I didn't notice that drawer anymore. Is this long-haul only?
