However, CX had a solution: I paid again with my new card (same price), and they would refund me the old charge (they did). Of course their printer broke down and the whole process took forever. IIRC I spent an hour there. Luckily, I had tons of time.
Same thing happened with me at Sheraton hotels in Vietnam except in had cancelled the original card between purchase (pre paid) and check in.
