"With the Barbasol Championship almost a month away, the Auburn Marriott Opelika Hotel and Conference Center at Grand National has completed its renovation of its 129 guest rooms, and is ready for golfers.

All 129 guest rooms at the hotel were completely remodeled as a part of the hotel’s full-property renovations. Each room now includes a 49-inch television, a full-wall mural of a scene from the Robert Trent Jones courses at Grand National, a granite vanity and a full-glass shower.

Plans are in the works to continue updates with a makeover of the Presidential Suite, the Lakeview Room Restaurant and the Fairways Lounge.

...the hotel’s regular Thursday night entertainment, the Southeastern Raptor Center’s Nova the golden eagle and Groucho the screech owl.

Weekly activities are scheduled for guests as a part of the hotel’s Camp Soaring Summer program, including dive-in movie nights, bingo, gourmet s’mores and more. Activities are open to guests, diners and National Village residents."
